The Pastor's Desk
Greetings in the Name of the Lord. This week I would like you to know that God is truly equipping the saints for a great move to take place. God is wanting you to be determined, dependable, and always trusting in Him.
God wants us to be able to reach beyond the natural standard of our ability and press towards that goal that He has placed over our lives. We must endeavor to encourage, equip, and edify the body of Christ. A lot of people get caught up in the destruction, confusion, and anxiety of the World. God has much more for us and we must strive to get to that place.
I would like to elaborate on the word “Sacrifice” this week. What is sacrifice? According to Webster’s dictionary it is “Destruction or surrender of something for the sake of something else. What is surrender? Your surrender is your life to God, knowing no matter what, you will serve Him all of your life. It is sometimes very hard to surrender things over in order to be able to gain other things. To some it may be video games, to others going to the movies, a girlfriend, or even a car. When a true sacrifice is made there is a true reward given.So ask your self “What am I to sacrifice?” Remember these things on this week and continue to press onwards towards your destiny.
